I have meant to start this for a while now. Something fun to document our first home and the large project that it's turned into! Originally Stefano and I had a wish list that included "turn key" we wanted to do little to no work and now we find ourselves neck deep in home renovations. Yikes! We bought a charming home in East Grand Rapids, MI that was built in 1924 with lots of character from the minute you see it. The door is LIME GREEN. Now, don't get me wrong, I love green…but this door…it must go. For some crazy reason Stefano loves it, so this may have to be one of those things that "waits" until the right moment to change. I love the color of the home and immediately felt it had lots of character. We knew this wouldn't be our forever home, but still wanted to change a few things to help it better fit our family.
With that being said, right before Christmas Lucca turned 1 and we bought our first house! My hopes are to post some pics as it all comes together. Here are some pictures of the exterior…
